Manufacturing for purpose off site and transporting is much more efficient.  The concrete sets at an optimum temperature, out of the weather. There is no wastage either, which makes it more sustainable.

The cost of retro-fitting a warehouse to be MAF compliant for feed storage with ICON Precast is $50,000 less than trying to retro-fit in-situ. In some circumstances it is impractical to retro-fit in any other way.

The use of ICON Precast allowed us to retro-fit the interior of a 10,000 square metre warehouse for feed storage in two weeks compared to the two months it would take to retro-fit in-situ.
